        DOGS

Class           Minor Puppy Dog

1st/BP         1st  Hunting’s Herodotus a Friend in Me by Chapmeek.  Nicely put together red/white dog, well developed for his age.  Good head shape                       and breadth of muzzle, correct eye shape and dentition/neat ears.   Good conformation/angulation;  moved with drive and with just enough                       edge to take him to first place although a bit more sparkle in the ring would not go amiss!

BEST PUPPY DOG  and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

2nd   Deeks’ Crossguns True Lies.   Black/brindle dog - another eight month old showing plenty of promise.  Finer than 1, but with many of                      his virtues.  Moved well – pushed hard for pole position to make the final decision a tough one..

         C    Junior Dog       septjd.jpg (501650 bytes)

1st  McGrath’s Jajca Phoenix from the Flame; Lovely ’typy’ red dog – good breadth and depth of skull, neat ears, good dentition/correct bite,                   dark eyes and black muzzle.  Laid back shoulders/ good neck length, spring of ribs and muscular rear.  Moved really well, holding his topline –                   and showed like a ring professional.

2nd   Alden-Smith’s Smylinatya Audacious Boy.   Black-brindle with plenty of potential.  Lots of things going for him – not least lovely small,                    tight feet and movement that evidenced sound  conformation.

3rd Mitford-Barberton’s Araidh Jacques au Boite.  Black dog – nice head, good dentition and really alert expression.  Good straight front,                    short coupling and lovely bend of stifle.
