little bruiser looking much less swollen after 2 weeks of treatment for mange in a wonderful new home

East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Rescue

The EASBTC co-ordinates it's own Rescue Service.  If you are interested in giving a Stafford another chance in a loving and permanent home take a look at the dogs below, remember Staffords can live to 17 years old so when deciding on owning a dog this needs to be considered very seriously.

After your initial enquiry we will need to organise a home checkThis is so we can find out as much about your situation as possible which helps us match you the right dog/s to view.  There is no pressure to take a dog it has to be right for your family. We would rather not start the homing procedure with you, if you are in contact with another rescue.  All rescues work hard to organise homechecks and dog assessments so please bare with one rescue organisation.

"LOUBIE"

joloubie.JPG (42457 bytes)                                                              jo1loubie.JPG (37782 bytes)

Loubie - Young 11 month old brindle girl, she came into us as a stray on her last of the statuary 7 days.  We now have this young lady in kennels.  The kennel owner has been working with Loubie and she now sits lovely for a titbit and is keen to learn, she takes treats gently but very typical of her breed Loubie is full to bursting with energy!!!!!!   A home where she can have her training continued with lots of walks and stimulation would be just the ticket!!

One of our assessors has been visiting Loubie in kennels to walk her and she's improving all the time, she is sitting on command although still rather boisterous at times and needs work on stopping her grabbing at her lead but she is responding well with this.

More information ring Jo Ann for details.

LOUBIE REALLY NEEDS A HOME, CAN YOU HELP??

"Fred"joted.jpg (23921 bytes)joteddy.jpg (25409 bytes)

Fred is a currently in kennels but is looking for a new home with experienced Stafford people as although he loves people, he isn't always quite so friendly with other dogs!  He is a strong lad and pulls on the lead but he is keen to please and learn and will benefit from routine and training.  Castrated and inoculated, Ted is around 4 years old.  Because he is lively and beefy he would be best in a home with adults only or if there are children only older ones.  He is clean in his kennel.  Can you offer Fred a fireside home instead of a kennel.............

Full history available on Fred, ring Jo Ann for details.

"BONNIE"joenonyy.JPG (25410 bytes)Bonnie

Bonnie is a good natured young brindle bitch, very keen to please.  She is currently in kennels and has been spayed. Bonnie can be a bit hesitant around men so she needs any males in the family to understand that she needs to take her introductions slowly.  She walks nicely on the lead once she is reminded to, sits quickly for treats and travels well.  She enjoys a fuss being made of her - what Stafford doesn't? - but she isn't an 'attention seeker';  she just wants somewhere to call her own.  Are you potentially her new home?

 "CASPER"joenonyy.JPG (25410 bytes)

Casper is a 4 yr old male, he is looking for a sensible quiet home
with experience of the breed. He is very well behaved but does not get
on with other dogs. Please call for more info.

"NARLA AND LANEY"joenonyy.JPG (25410 bytes)

Narla (red) and Laney (black and white) are two three yr old bitches they are being homed due to Recent ill health and divorce which means they are not getting the time they deserve. They both Love attention and are  lively and friendly. They are house and crate trained and also are used to being left . They have lived with children but would probably best suited to older children as they are lively. More info and pics. when they are assessed. They can be homed together or separately . Narla is KC registered

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO VIEW A FEW DOGS AT THE SAME TIME????  we have Loubie, Bonnie and Fred at the same kennels, why not visit them - maybe one of them must be the perfect dog for you!
