Meadow Green Dog Rescue at Loddon near Norwich 

they currently have lots of Staffords in need of homes 

some are 'hand ins' and have lots of previous history whilst others are strays so no background is known but all dogs are fully assessed before rehoming.

they have a few Staffords there currently, but are especially seeking a loving home for TOBY 

Toby is around 7yrs old.  He does not want to live with another dog although can be walked with them, and cannot live with cats. He can go with children over the age of 11yrs - he has never had experience with kids and does have a sensitive side to him. They do not know how long he can be left home on his own for so needs someone who can be with him for most of the day to begin with. Toby adores playing ball, whether it be with a football or tennis ball, and will be great fun for a new family (it is this side of him that people never seem to notice as he is so calm in his kennel, but he really does have a very playful side!) He is also extremely affectionate and loves a good cuddle and belly rub. He has been waiting so long for his perfect home and will make a great companion.  Recently Toby was the winner of the Shelter's training competition, showing off all of his tricks and proving that even an old staffie can be taught to do agility with the right encouragement! (Well, he made it over the hurdles and through the tyre...)

BERT

     

Bert is a 2 - 3 years old full male, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He has been living with Tracey since Spring 2009 as he was left abandoned outside Morrisons.and was picked up by the RSPCA but they were unable to track down his owner. As they had nowhere to place him, he was sent to  Tracey to help find a new home!  

He needs an experienced Stafford owner preferably, with no children as he is quite excitable. He walks to heel, sits, stays and comes back when off lead. He is mostly ok with other dogs  and also great on agility equipment.
