Here are some sample copies of certificates you should be aware of when buying a SBT puppy. Always insist on seeing paper copies of these certificates when you go to see a litter:

THE ABOVE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A BONA FIDE 'CERTIFICATE OF EYE EXAMINATION' . PLEASE NOTE IN PARTICULAR THE RESULTS WITHIN THE SECTION: 'INHERITED EYE DISEASE STATUS'. IN THIS EXAMPLE THE DOG TESTED 'UNAFFECTED' WHEN EXAMINED FOR PHPV (Persistent Hyperplastic Primary Vitreous) and HC (Hereditary Cataract). IF THE DOG OR BITCH IN QUESTION HAS TESTED 'UNAFFECTED', THEN HIS/HER 'CERTIFICATE OF EYE EXAMINATION' SHOULD BE MARKED IN THE SAME WAY AS THIS EXAMPLE. THE DOG's KC REGISTRATION DOCUMENT SHOULD ALSO BE CERTIFIED BY THE EYE EXAMINER AT THE TIME OF TESTING (SEE EXAMPLE).
IN ADDITION, YOU SHOULD
SATISFY YOURSELF THAT THE DETAILS ON THE 'CERTIFICATE OF EYE EXAMINATION' REFLECT THOSE ON
THE CORRESPONDING KC REGISTRATION, WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE OWNER/BREEDERS NAME
& ADDRESS, THE DOG's REGISTERED NAME AND NUMBER AND OTHER RELEVANT DETAILS.
