LAUREL - EVERYONE'S BEST FRIEND (ISBN 1-4120-2621-0) by Steve Moore Reviewer: Caroline Chapman I first read this book a few years ago & I loved it. It is brutally honest, Steve tells it as it is, warts & all. It's the true story of Laurel, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who went to live with the author Steve Moore at the age of just 5 weeks. Steve tells all about how Laurel helped him to deal with his own depression, as well as how he helped Laurel to overcome her own problems, mental & physical. It's not by any means a morose book though, parts of it had me rolling with laughter. It's a must read for all Stafford owners, or those who simply love reading true stories about dogs. I won't spoil it by telling you any more. All proceeds from this book go to Staffie Rescue & Welfare
